Will I have my own room?
Pursuit has 50 single rooms. These rooms are given to lodgers who have been with us the longest. When you first move in, you will be in one of our 74 shared rooms.
Is there a curfew?
You can come and go anytime. The front door is locked from 1am to 5:30am, but there’s staff available 24 hours to let you in.
How do I qualify for Housing Support?
- People 65 or older
- People younger than 65 who have a condition that limits their self-sufficiency. For example, it may be a physical or mental health disability, visual impairment or chemical dependency.

Does Pursuit accommodate special diets?
Short answer, no. Long answer, we have alternatives that might work for you:
- Pork alternatives are served when pork is the main dish at a meal
- Bagged to-go meals available via a sign up sheet a day ahead of time
- Bagged meals are all made with non-pork lunch meat
- Option to request salad alternative (may contain dairy and/or meat)
- Our kitchen contains dairy, gluten, and nuts
How long can I stay?
Pursuit does not have an upper or lower limit on your stay. The agreement is day-to-day. You can get a same day discharge by just handing in your keys when you are ready. As long as you follow house rules and stay current with your funding, Pursuit will not ask you to leave.
Am I eligible to live at Pursuit?
Pursuit requires the following:
- 30 days sobriety
- Adult male
- Mentally stable & med compliant
- Funding via Housing Support, SSI, or self-pay
What about marijuana?
Pursuit handles recreational marijuana like alcohol: it isn’t allowed on property, you can’t be under its influence, and you can’t smell like it. Pursuit treats medical marijuana like other prescriptions: it is held in the front office. Only certain forms of marijuana are allowed.
Can I bring my own TV?
Yes, you can bring your own TV, radio, and electronics. You can secure your property in your room when you leave.
