About Pursuit

Pursuit Hometel is a Board and Lodge just south of downtown Minneapolis. We have 205 beds. We have 50 single rooms and 74 shared rooms. Single rooms are given to lodgers based on longevity and abiding by House Rules. We serve three delicious meals a day, 365 days a year.

We pride ourselves on maintaining respectful staff, providing a good service, and being empathetic to the trials our clients are going through. With no minimum nor maximum length of stay, we have two groups of clients. Of the men who have made us home, we have 80+ who have been with us a year or more. 60 clients have been with us 5+ years! Our other group of lodgers stay for an average of two months.

Pursuit Hometel was established in 1979 by Lucille and Victor Brick. Paul Brick was the next steward of Pursuit. It is now owned by the third generation, Heather Kerchner. Onsite daily, Tiegan Brick is instrumental in honoring our person-centered philosophy.
